A Ballet Cross Stitch Gift to Please Your Favorite Ballerina
    Suzie Perry
    Printer-Friendly Format

If you have a little girl that loves ballet, or need a gift for your child's dance instructor, you might consider giving them a handmade gift that depicts their love of the dance.  Finding a ballet cross stitch motif should be relatively easy to do, and would combine your love for cross stitch with their love of ballet dancing.

When looking for a ballet cross stitch pattern, there are many designs and themes to choose from.  If you're an advanced cross stitcher, have intermediate skills, or are just beginning, it should be possible to find patterns and charts -- both online and offline -- to meet your taste and skill level.

Is there an occasion that your child's dance teacher will be celebrating soon? Whether it is for a birthday, holiday, or just to thank her for investing in your child's life, a ballet cross stitch will be one gift she'll be sure to cherish for the love that went into creating it.

For the teacher who has younger students, consider creating a design featuring very young ballerinas.  You could also choose pink ballet slippers, or a ballerina putting on her shoes. Don't forget to say "thank you" by including a personal message or quote about dancing. Remember, too, to stitch the date the gift is given on the completed piece.

Allow your child to choose just the right cross stitch pattern for the teacher's gift, even if there's no occasion for a gift. With your guidance, you can help your child learn to love cross stitching as much as she loves dancing. Taking the time to cross stitch together will strengthen your relationship as well as give you an opportunity to teach something that's meaningful to you.

If your daughter wants ballet decorations in her room, there's no end to the choices available to you.  And cross stitch projects you've made will fill her room with love. Using the word "ballet" in an acrostic would be unique to go along with dancers in different poses. Whatever you choose together, your daughter will enjoy spending time in her ballet themed room.

Whether you're the one who loves ballet, or just cross stitching, you can join the two hobbies together to create beautiful ballet cross stitch projects.  Give them as gifts or decorate your daughter's room, in either case you'll create something that will show how you feel about dancing, and express your for them.
